Employer - Henderson Mowers Position : Full Time Location : Ballarat VIC Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year Henderson Mowers & Chainsaws is a family owned and operated business offering high quality garden care products both in store locally and online all over Australia. They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Small Engine Mechanic to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Inspects small engines to identify faults and determine necessary repairs Performs routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements, and cleans and lubricates engine parts Repairs or replaces defective mechanical parts such as pistons, rings, bearings, valves, etc Uses diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot small engine problems Adjusts engine components such as ignition timing and fuel mixture Disassembles/reassembles small engines to examine parts for defects and wear Testing to ensure optimum performance. Monitor and report consumable usage to ensure adequate stocks of spare parts are available. Keeping accurate job card records of all parts and labour utilized Ensuring workshop safety is maintained including maintaining a clean and tidy workstation.
