Duties of the Position Assist in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components in accordance with technical drawings and engineering specifications. Measure, mark, and prepare mechanical components to ensure compliance with design tolerances and installation requirements. Use of hand tools, power tools, multi-meter and pneumatics/compressed air Ability to make accurate documentation, photos, maintenance sheets and recommendations to improve equipment. Determining and sourcing suitable tools, instruments, and machinery for projects. Installing, configuring, and integrating new or modified mechanical assemblies, machine components, control mechanisms, and systems. Calculating material requirements, projecting costs, and identifying machinery needs. Gathering, processing, and interpreting technical data, performing detailed calculations, and generating diagrams and schematics. Verifying that designs, installations, and completed work conform to specifications, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
