We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple government building projects in Perth CBD. The successful candidate will join a construction company with over 95 years of experience delivering projects across government and private sectors, specialising in Design & Construct, Construct Only, Early Contractor Involvement, and heritage/conservation projects. The company is committed to high-quality outcomes, strong client relationships, and structured, transparent processes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Lead full lifecycle delivery of government building projects from procurement to handover Coordinate project planning, scheduling, resourcing, and milestone tracking Ensure compliance with government requirements, specifications, and documentation standards Manage multiple concurrent projects with oversight of cost, quality, and progress Contracts & Commercial Management (Strong CA Experience Required) Administer head contract obligations and manage subcontract procurement and onboarding Prepare and manage RFIs, variations, EOTs, progress claims, cost forecasts, and cashflow reporting Conduct detailed cost control and financial reporting Ensure accurate handling of project accounts and documentation Stakeholder & Client Management Act as key liaison for government clients, consultants, superintendents, and subcontractors Lead project meetings and provide updates, progress reports, and presentations Build strong relationships and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle Site Coordination Collaborate with Site Managers, Supervisors, and Engineers to ensure project success Attend site regularly to monitor operations, quality, safety, and compliance Manage subcontractor performance to meet program, safety, and quality standards Risk, Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate contract records and project documentation Ensure compliance with government procurement rules and Australian Standards Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies Skills & Experience 5 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator / Project Manager Strong hands-on Contract Administration experience Proven track record delivering projects for government clients Experience with Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial builders Skilled in subcontractor management, budgets, schedules, RFIs, variations, EOTs, procurement, progress claims, and cost reporting Excellent client communication and stakeholder management Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, Aconex, Jobpac, Cheops) Qualifications & Attributes Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) Valid White Card Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and government procurement processes Leadership presence with a collaborative, team-focused approach Highly organised, commercially astute, and detail-oriented Able to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills Available to start immediately How to Apply If this opportunity aligns with your experience, please apply directly with your updated CV.
