About the Role As a Prevention Officer, you’ll work alongside local communities, government agencies, and service providers to create safer, healthier futures. You’ll help design, deliver, and evaluate AOD prevention initiatives, lead community education campaigns, and strengthen local partnerships that drive real, lasting change. Your work will include: Leading the development and implementation of AOD and Volatile Substance Use Management Plans. Coordinating prevention programs and campaigns in collaboration with the Mental Health Commission. Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to identify community needs and priorities. Representing Hope and PCADS (Pilbara/Kimberley Community Alcohol and Other Drug Service) at regional forums and meetings. Promoting a supportive, inclusive, and culturally secure approach in all community engagement activities.
