About the project Abergeldie is working with Transport for NSW to deliver the Hill Road Upgrade in Lidcombe. This project will enhance Hill Road between Parramatta Road and Old Hill Link, improving connectivity to the Carter Street Precinct and Sydney Olympic Park. The works will include upgrading the Parramatta Road intersection at Hill Road and Bombay Street and widening the M4 Motorway eastbound off ramp into Hill Road. The Hill Road and John Ian Wing Parade intersection will also be upgraded, delivering a new fourth approach through Stockyard Boulevard, new lanes in every direction, shared pathways and wider footpaths to improve active transport options. About the Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled Civil Supervisor with strong experience in road infrastructure to join our team on Hill Road. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and coordinating on-site civil construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with program. Leading and managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure effective use of resources, productivity and quality. Ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality and environmental standards on-site. Tracking project progress, reporting on milestones and proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays. Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets and material usage. Fostering a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement across all site operations. What You’ll Bring to the Team Demonstrated civil construction supervision experience across road and related infrastructure projects, with familiarity in Transport for NSW standards and requirements highly regarded. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate site teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials and industry standards. A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A current driver’s license.
