Indigeco is partnering with a leading national insurance provider to recruit multiple Claims Advisors to join a highly collaborative and supportive Workers Compensation team in Newcastle. ABOUT THE ROLE Manage claims end-to-end, blending phone-based conversations, case management, and administrative decision-making Communicate effectively with injured workers, employers, and medical providers Review medical, financial, and rehabilitation documentation to determine liability and support decisions Coordinate effective return-to-work plans, helping people return to health and work with dignity Provide excellent customer service while meeting clear KPIs around quality, timeliness, and legislative requirements ABOUT YOU Experience in claims management, workers compensation, insurance, or customer-centric call centre roles High levels of empathy, resilience, and professionalism when dealing with sensitive situations Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders Allied health or psychology backgrounds are highly regarded, though not essential Ability to work in the Newcastle office (ASAP start) WHAT YOU GET Salary of $85,000–$90,000 inclusive of 12% superannuation, plus up to 7% performance-based incentives True flexibility: 37.5-hour week within core hours (8:00am–6:00pm, Mon–Fri) with flexible start and finish times Hybrid work model (2-3 days WFH) and the opportunity to transition to a 9-day fortnight once fully established in the role (post-probation) Exceptional perks including 20 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers, retail and insurance discounts, and health/wellness benefits Strong career growth pathways into Senior Claims, Technical Support, Team Leadership, or other business areas like Underwriting Highly supportive team culture with hands-on leaders, ongoing learning, and study support HOW TO APPLY If you are an empathetic professional looking to make a difference every day and build your career within a leading insurance environment, we would love to hear from you.
