This national corporate in the utilities infrastructure / energy sector has an exciting new Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC ) Specialist position available to join the IT Security & Risk operations team. This is 12 month contract offering very competitive daily rates, hybrid WFH and Melbourne CBD office based position. The Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist is responsible for independently delivering third-party cyber security risk assessments across the vendor lifecycle. The role focuses on applying a risk-based, critical thinking approach to assess third-party cyber risks and support driving uplift of cyber security third-party risk frameworks, processes, templates, and contractual security clauses to strengthen organisational cyber resilience and governance. Additionally the CyberSec GRC Specialist will have the opportunity to provide process, systems and automation improvement recommendations across vendor risk assessment, security and risks policies, frameworks and standards. To be successful in this CyberSec GRC Specialist position, you will possess demonstrated experience conducting third-party/vendor cyber security risk assessments, a strong background in cyber security risk management within complex or regulated environments. You will have experience developing or enhancing third-party risk management frameworks and assessment methodologies. You will possess strong knowledge of cyber security risk frameworks and standards including AESCSF and an understanding of third-party risk management principles and regulatory considerations. Additionally you will have experience in providing security risk process, systems and standards improvement recommendations .
