The role will have sole responsibility for this client. Based in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs with parking. The role also offers two days WFH and three days in the office and a competitive salary. This role will see you in close collaboration with the client, and with the senior management team, you will become an integral part of the team, that has achieved remarkable growth. Keeping customers informed and up to date with their shipments Maintaining strong professional relationships with the customer. Provide excellent customer service on a daily basis Implement process improvement in conjunction with customers service level agreements Manage end to end shipments (Sea/LCL/FCL) Accurate and disciplined system usage (Cargowise Clear concise customer management Proactive PO and order management Coordination with overseas agents, carriers, customs, and transport Cartage Coordination Invoicing Import orders This role suits an individual with a background in Import Operations who is client and service focused dealing directly with the customer on a daily or regular basis. You must demonstrate: Experience in a similar role within Freight Forwarding (not negotiable) Minimum 3 years working within the Freight Forwarding sector Proficiency in advanced forwarding knowledge and procedures Excellent communication and writing skills Knowledge of rate cards and invoicing A collaborative approach working within a team environment. Readiness to undertake additional tasks as necessary.
