DESCRIPTION: Strategize, achieve, and maximize Sales and EBITDA targets. Set short and long-term sales strategies, business plans, and profitability goals, working with sales, marketing and FP&A peers Direct and coordinate activities of various functions including sales/marketing, customer service, scientific affairs, field service engineers, technical operations, and administration. Active member of the global commercial team with established communication within APMEA . Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and revise objectives and strategies in accordance with current conditions. Strong leadership skills, confident approach to work. Sets the tone and culture of the company by encouraging open discussions, innovation, and pro-active thinking. Recruit and manage staff as appropriate, in line with business needs. Coordinate workload and set objectives for direct reports to ensure that operational objectives of the department are met and delivered within agreed timelines. Implement and provide guidance for personal development plans and participate in the annual appraisal process and succession plans with direct reports Represent the Company at scientific seminars/conferences when necessary. Ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies. Other duties as reasonably required by the Company. REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree plus 8 years of proven sales experience in relevant scientific/healthcare industries Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business Administration or related field 3 years of sales management/team leadership experience Strong understanding of laboratory, research, clinical or industrial markets Demonstrated leadership abilities with proven track record of developing successful teams Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated success in strategic planning, forecasting and achieving revenue targets Proficiency with AI, CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) and MS Office suite Ability to build and maintain strong customer and key stakeholder relationships Experience managing complex sales cycles and large accounts Business acumen with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities Travel required up to 20-40% Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization Track record of commercial success and continuous improvement Strong negotiation skills and ability to work effectively at all levels Commitment to Thermo Fisher's core values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement Benefits Join our team and take advantage of these great benefits!
