Description An exciting opportunity exists for a casual Medical Imaging Assistant within the Nuclear Medicine Department at our Campbelltown Park Central clinic. We are seeking interested Medical Imaging students for upcoming opportunities in Medical Imaging Assistant (MIA) roles. You will be aiding patients attending for medical imaging procedures. This offers valuable hands‑on experience within clinical imaging teams and provide an excellent pathway for students looking to develop their practical skills and transition into professional practice. Key accountabilities include: Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, in a supportive, team/patient focused environment Gain confidence & practical experience in patient imaging & care; obtain patient clinical history & explain procedures to patients Learn to operate advanced nuclear medicine equipment, as well as arrange & schedule patient appointments & supply accurate preparation for procedures Contribute to meaningful projects that improve patient outcomes Deepen understanding of imaging workflows Deliver safe, high quality & compassionate care Develop practical skills that will support your transition into a graduate NMT role We invite applications pursuing a degree in Nuclear Medicine & PET.
