We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Worker to partner with a young female adult living in Mackay. Our participant has a spinal cord injury and is looking for someone who can provide personalized, respectful, and consistent support to help her maintain independence and quality of life. About the Role As a Support Worker, you will assist the participant with daily living tasks, parental support and community engagement. Rates: Day $43.75 per hour Afternoon $ 48.12 per hour Saturday $ 61.25 per hour Sunday $ 78.75 per hour Duties: Assistance with personal care Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation) Assistance with domestic tasks Manual handling such as hoisting and transfers Administering medication Parental support Skills & Experience Australian Driver's License Certificate 3 in Individual Support Current National Police Clearance within 12 months Current Blue Card Current Yellow Card NDIS Worker Orientation Module NDIS Support Effective Communication Module Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
