The role We have an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled Business Partner Environment to join Adbri’s national Environmental Services team. The Business Partner Environment provides specialist technical advice, information and analysis on Environmental Management and Compliance matters, strengthening environmental leadership and culture across operations to ensure ongoing compliance with environmental licence conditions and progress toward industry best practice in environmental performance and sustainability. Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Performance, this role supports the implementation of Adbri Group’s environmental and sustainability strategy and programs, partnering with operational teams to provide practical environmental guidance across assets, production, operations, people, community and regulatory matters. This role is located at The Lakes Quarry, WA and you will be required to travel across all sites within the Swan portfolio. This role is suited to a capable self-starter, who is willing to learn new skills and take responsibility across the portfolio for environmental improvement in this exciting industry. Responsibilities Maintain environmental management and regulatory records, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. Compile, analyse, and interpret environmental performance and regulatory reporting for internal stakeholders and signatories. Coordinate compliance monitoring and reporting, including work by external consultants. Support environmental risk management, site inspections, and investigation of incidents or complaints. Lead or contribute to environmental improvement initiatives, audits, and process improvement programs. Communicate effectively with teams, working independently and collaboratively to deliver results. Coach and influence frontline workers to promote a culture of environmental excellence. Support and promote Adbri’s sustainability framework and environmental strategies. What you will need to succeed Tertiary qualification in Environmental Management, Science, Engineering or related discipline. Experience in environmental management within heavy industry, infrastructure or construction environments. Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 standards. Proven ability to drive compliance, reporting and continuous improvement in partnership with operations and regulators. Current driver’s licence, Industry White Card and ability to travel as required. Skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
