A key role within the Global Finance Team with real ownership Exposure to a multi-entity, multinational environment Direct partnership with the Financial Controller, CFO and senior leaders Involvement in consolidated reporting across multiple jurisdictions Exposure to audit, tax and governance processes The opportunity to drive process improvements and uplift controls A high-trust, outcome-focused culture where autonomy is valued A refurbished Camberwell office close to cafes, transport and parking Birthday leave, EAP access, employee awards and referral bonuses A business growing into new countries each year - with real career runway The role Reporting to the Group Financial Manager this role plays a pivotal role in the financial reporting and accounting of our global consolidated business Key responsibilities include: Lead month-end close activities and deliver accurate, timely financial results Translate financial data into clear insights that support decision-making across departments Partner with leaders to analyse performance, identify risks and uncover opportunities Drive budgeting and forecasting processes with a forward-looking lens Monitor and improve financial controls to protect business integrity as we scale Support group reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions Collaborate with auditors and advisors to ensure smooth audit and compliance outcomes Identify and implement process and systems improvements that enhance efficiency and visibility You’ll also support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as the business continues to grow globally. Who we’re looking for We’re less focused on years and more focused on capability, ownership and mindset. You’re someone who: Holds a Degree in Accounting Is CA or CPA qualified Has 3 years’ experience in financial accounting Has strong technical knowledge of AASB and IFRS Has experience in financial reporting, budgeting and compliance Is confident managing tight month-end deadlines Communicates financial information clearly across all levels Takes initiative and drives process improvement without being prompted Has strong attention to detail and systems capability (Sage Intacct or similar ERP experience highly regarded) Is comfortable working cross-culturally in a global business Experience in a multinational, multi-entity environment, exposure to intercompany and FX accounting, or audit interaction will be highly regarded.
