Strategic Relationship Manager Job No: 678777 Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD Permanent Full Time Insurance Pay Band 6 Permanent role Drive outcomes and play a critical role in national strategy for Commercial Insurance Contribute to a strong collaborative and supportive culture High profile role reporting into Executive Manager – Broker Partnerships Sydney CBD location The Strategic Relationship Manager is responsible nationally for delivering delegated international, national or cluster broker group/s outcomes through fostering strategic business to business relationships and promoting growth within broker group/s to maximise results. This crucial role also involves proactively fostering a true partnership approach between Suncorp and its business partners and developing positive working relationships across the business. Key Responsibilities include: Advocating and positively representing the best interests of the Vero broker partnership at meetings and forums Ensuring Suncorp/Vero fulfils its obligations under any relevant agreements (legislative or otherwise) Regularly create, review and action strategic account plans on behalf of Vero/GIO Formulate and nurture Vero/GIO’s strategic relationship with broking group/s on a national basis Work closely with broker HO and relevant stakeholders to maintain current knowledge of developing projects and initiatives affecting the strategy Maintain and strengthen relationships (at all levels) for broker group/s Build and maintain strong collaborative internal strategic and operational relationships and networks to ensure delivery of Vero promises to broker group/s (including coordination of appropriate teams and alignment of broker strategy plans and budgets across GI teams). Skills & Experience: Demonstrated strategic business relationship management experience - Highly desirable Successful intermediated insurance experience – Desirable Successful insurance/finance experience – Desirable An understanding of key principles, models and processes Commercial understanding of the general insurance market, products and underwriting Understanding of the business environment and operations and in particular the Insurance and Financial Services industry including business drivers and key business issues.
