About the role: We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Manager to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday and no public holidays. Duties and responsibilities: This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Lead the CSSD team in cleaning and sterilisation services Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to Undertake quality improvement activities for the department Monitor CSSD equipment and stock levels and order as required Ensure daily equipment checks are completed and usage records maintained in accordance with the AS 5369:2023 standards and the NSQHS Standard 3 - Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard About You: You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have: Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services Proven experience in a similar leadership role Experience with the below specialties desirable Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements Culture and Benefits: At Nexus, caring for our people, patients and employees is at the centre of everything we do.
