What you’ll do: Reporting to the Chief People and Culture Officer, we’re looking for a commercially savvy People & Culture Business Partner who thrives in complex environments and enjoys partnering closely with leaders to drive performance, capability and compliance. This is a hands-on role with strong ER/IR depth — ideal for someone who combines sound judgement with a practical, solutions-focused approach. Hospital experience is highly desired. The portfolio includes our Southern & Western Regions (Vic, WA, Tas, SA) as well as leading enterprise level projects as required. Partner with Leaders Build trusted relationships and provide commercially grounded advice. Align people strategy with operational priorities. Influence, challenge and support leaders with clarity and integrity. Lead ER & IR Matters Manage end-to-end ER cases (performance, misconduct, workplace conflict). Provide expert advice on procedural fairness, investigations and risk mitigation. Interpret awards and enterprise agreements; support Fair Work compliance. Contribute to bargaining prep, union engagement and dispute resolution (where relevant). Build Capability & Culture Coach leaders in feedback, accountability and respectful leadership. Identify systemic themes and implement preventative improvements. Strengthen Governance & Systems Contribute to scalable P&C frameworks and fit-for-purpose policies. Maintain strong documentation, governance and case discipline. Use people insights and metrics to inform proactive decision-making. About you: You are a natural collaborator who builds strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. An exceptional communicator, you work autonomously while maintaining a strong ‘one team’ mindset. Proven experience as an HR/P&C Business Partner or ER/IR specialist in a complex environment, ideally in a hospital setting. Strong working knowledge of ER case management and IR frameworks. Confident interpreting awards and enterprise agreements. Trusted advisor with the ability to influence at all levels. Calm, discreet and solutions-oriented, with strong written documentation skills.
