We're looking for someone who believes in high standards and delivering the best customer service possible. Our workshop environment is busy, vibrant, professional, safety and process driven, and we are committed to developing and upskilling our technicians to the highest industry standards. The base salary offered is $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. Key duties and responsibilities include : Perform advanced diagnostics, inspection, and testing of light motor vehicles and mechanical systems including transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems to identify faults and required repairs. Utilise electronic and computerised diagnostic equipment to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a wide range of light motor vehicles. Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop manuals. Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and safety checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance, reliability, and compliance with roadworthy standards. Collaborate with the service and workshop team to provide accurate repair information and timely updates to customers. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, quality control standards, and workshop procedures. Maintain accurate service records and documentation for completed work. Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies, technical advancements, and training relevant to modern vehicles. The successful candidate will possess the below skills and experience : Relevant automotive trade qualifications (Certificate III, IV or Diploma). Minimum of 1 years' experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic. Brand specific training is highly desirable. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license.
