ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced State Manager to join a leading piling contractor in Melbourne. This senior leadership role will oversee all operations, driving business growth, project delivery performance, and strategic development. Main Duties Lead and manage all piling and civil projects. Oversee project delivery to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget. Manage Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams. Drive business development and maintain strong client relationships. Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and environmental standards. Monitor financial performance, including budgets and forecasts. Plan resources, plant, and labour to keep operations running efficiently. Report to senior leadership on performance and results. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 20 years of experience in piling, ground engineering, or civil construction. Strong experience in a senior management role within piling or ground engineering. Solid technical knowledge of piling methods (CFA, bored piles, driven piles, secant walls). Proven experience managing multiple large projects at the same time. Strong commercial and financial management skills. Good leadership and communication skills.
