Optimal Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and growing Northern Beaches supplier within the construction and building materials sector to recruit a dynamic individual who likes. This is a varied, hands-on role offering real breadth across sales support, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and commercial administration. The Role You will support the full sales cycle by preparing accurate proposals and competitive quotes, following up on enquiries, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. A proactive element is key, including outbound calls to builders, project teams, prospective customers, and lapsed accounts to generate and qualify new business opportunities. You will also take ownership of stock coordination, raising purchase orders, managing inbound shipments, monitoring back orders, and maintaining minimum stock levels to prevent shortages. Oversight of goods receipting, picking, packing, and dispatch will be essential to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Freight booking, supplier liaison, and quarterly stocktakes will form part of your operational remit. Commercial & Financial Responsibilities Strong administration and financial accuracy are central to this role. You will complete supplier reconciliations, process invoices against Purchase Orders/Goods Received Notes, maintain accurate system pricing, allocate customer payments, and carry out daily cash reconciliations, escalating discrepancies where required. Customer & Digital Support As a key point of contact for customers, you will handle phone and email enquiries professionally, maintain accurate CRM/ERP records, and ensure a consistently positive customer experience. You may also assist with warranty coordination and support website pricing updates and social media scheduling to ensure information remains current and aligned with company campaigns. You are organised, commercially aware, and comfortable balancing proactive sales activity with operational discipline.
