Over recent years, a more sedentary lifestyle and significant population growth in our major cities have led to a rise in obesity and a worrying lack of basic physical skills. The result is that today’s kids may be the first generation with a shorter life expectancy than their parents. The Centre Based in the Inner West Sydney suburb of Marrickville , BK Gym Marrickville is part of the BK Gym family. BK Gyms are expanding nationally with various centres open in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. We are fast becoming a gymnastics venue of choice. Patrons experience a friendly and warm atmosphere with coaches that will guide and encourage them. The Role Reporting to the Centre Manager and working alongside the National Marketing Manager, you will: Execute local marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and lead generation Capture engaging onsite photos and videos for social media and campaigns Create and publish social media content (posts, stories, reels) aligned with brand guidelines Generate creative ideas to increase community engagement Build relationships with local schools, preschools, and community organisations Participate in school visits, community events, and outreach activities Support enrolment growth, event promotion, and program visibility Ensure all marketing aligns with brand standards and child-safe principles This is a hands-on role where you’ll be actively involved in the centre environment Ability to photograph/video activities/promotions at the venue Connect with the community for various project/promotional work About You You are creative, organised and confident engaging with the community. You take initiative and enjoy bringing ideas to life. Essential: Proficiency in Canva Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively High attention to detail Highly Desirable: Experience in gymnastics, fitness, community sport or youth programs Photography and video skills suitable for social media Understanding of child-safe communication practices Why Join BK Gymnastics?
