About The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the Manager Service Delivery. As the leader of Water Services Service Delivery Team, you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver safe, efficient, and responsive 24/7 delivery of water and wastewater services. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Develop and implement an operational plan for the Service Delivery team that ensures the operation and maintenance of infrastructure and ensures that services meet customer expectations and legislative requirements in a cost-effective manner. Provide active leadership to ensure an engaged safety culture and overall engaged and motivated team culture reflecting Council's values. Ensure data reporting for asset maintenance and renewal programs. Build and maintain professional inter-Branch relationships to ensure the strategic goals of the Branch are set and achieved holistically. Assist the Branch Manager in the development of the annual and three-year capital budgets. Implement systems and processes that align the delivery of services with a business orientated approach to urban utility delivery. Develop and implement the annual recurrent budget for the Service Delivery section, ensuring the delivery of budgeted outcomes are within time and budget constraints. About You To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria: Tertiary Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience. Substantial knowledge of water and wastewater services operations and processes. Substantial experience in developing and leading high performing teams. A working knowledge of financial, business and organisational management requirements pertaining to water services. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
