About the Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to own and shape one of Flight Centre's most strategically critical product categories on a truly global scale. As Head of Product – Flights & Ancillaries, you'll be the category visionary and commercial engine behind our Flights & Insurance portfolio, driving strategy, supplier partnerships, product innovation, and performance across five global markets: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, and South Africa. This is a senior leadership role sitting within our newly established Global Product structure, reporting directly to the Global Product Leader. You'll set the direction, lead a team of specialists and tacticians, and leave a lasting mark on how Flight Centre competes in market. What You'll Do Lead Category Strategy & Performance Drive end-to-end accountability for Flights & Ancillaries across all regions and channels. You'll define the product range, set performance targets, and translate data into commercial action. Champion Product Innovation Identify and develop exclusive FC product ranges and innovative travel experiences that differentiate Flight Centre in a competitive landscape. Build Strategic Supplier Partnerships Work hand-in-hand with our Global Supply team to negotiate exclusive and always-on promotional offers. Drive Operational Excellence Partner with internal teams to streamline product-to-market processes and reduce manual touchpoints. Develop Your Team Provide clear leadership, coaching, and direction to a category team of specialists and tacticians across multiple regions, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and customer-centricity. What You'll Bring 10 years of travel product and industry experience 5 years in a senior product or category management role Proven track record leading global or multi-regional product teams Deep expertise in flights: fare construction, GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus), airline ticketing rules, interline agreements, and IATA/AFTA regulations Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable P&L results Experience driving product automation, system optimisation, and operational efficiency Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills across suppliers, tourism boards, and internal partners Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to use data to drive decisions Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Tourism or related field (preferred) Please advise your leader before applying Please note: applications can only be considered by candidates who are based, and have the right to work, in Australia without restriction or requiring visa sponsorship.
