Your clinical skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and positive approach to work will ensure your success in this role. As a Perioperative Services Manager, your responsibilities will include: Coordination and allocation of staff Overseeing the day-to-day operations in theatre Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and Sterilisation standards Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk management Ensure workplace health and safety guidelines and policies are met Manage Budgets and attainment of budgetary targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Maintaining effective relationship with major stakeholders Ensure Theatre is run ethically and complies with policies, procedures and all legal requirements Essential Criteria: Full working rights in Australia Current unrestricted AHPRA registration Post Graduate Qualifications in Perioperative Nursing, Business and/or Management (or working towards) Minimum of 5 years senior nursing experience within the Perioperative unit Experience looking after a minimum of 5 theatres High degree of computer literacy including MS Office Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Working with children check Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care Excellent interpersonal and communication skills To find out more about this position or to receive a copy of the job description please email caroline@curis.com.au and I will be in touch within 24 hours.
