Prime Mover Mechanic Location: Dandenong South, VIC Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Pay Rate: $40–$50 per hour (PAYG) Super Overtime Tool Allowance Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (overtime available) TRS Resourcing is seeking a skilled Prime Mover Mechanic to join a reputable transport workshop in Dandenong South . This role involves servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy transport prime movers and associated equipment in a fast-paced, modern facility. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will: Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair faults on prime movers and heavy-duty vehicles Perform component replacement, adjustments, and system overhauls Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards Maintain accurate maintenance and service documentation Who We’re Looking For We want reliable, experienced mechanics with a strong mechanical aptitude who can work independently and as part of a team. Preferred experience includes: Prime mover / heavy vehicle servicing & repairs Diagnostic fault finding on diesel engines, driveline and chassis systems Transport workshop environments Candidates with experience in agricultural, civil or fixed-plant equipment are also encouraged to apply.
