About the Role: This role is accountable for leading and coordinating multiple Finance transformation workstreams, ensuring structured execution, capability uplift, process standardisation, and measurable business outcomes aligned to enterprise objectives. The successful candidate will bring deep Finance operations expertise, strong program and project delivery capability, and proven experience transitioning Finance activities to a managed service provider. Working closely with Executive Finance leaders, Business Unit stakeholders, Program Managers, Change teams, and external partners, this role plays a critical part in embedding consistent delivery practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Transformation & Program Delivery Lead and coordinate Finance transformation and transition workstreams from initiation through to delivery and embedment. Align workstream priorities to enterprise strategy and target operating model. Develop and maintain structured delivery plans including scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance. Drive disciplined, timely, and cost-effective execution across all phases of delivery. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks and decisions through appropriate governance forums. Apply lessons learned to continuously refine and strengthen delivery frameworks and execution models. Embed a standardised program delivery methodology, including templates, governance structures, and reporting approaches. Transition & Managed Services Lead Finance transition activities to Managed Service Providers and/or Shared Services environments. Ensure business readiness for consultation and transition activities. Drive enterprise-wide process standardisation aligned to future-state Finance design. Identify, document, and transition continuous improvement initiatives into BAU and Shared Services environments. Validate retained organisation structures remain aligned to the target operating model. Process Improvement & Controls Identify and implement process simplification, automation, and rationalisation opportunities. Ensure adherence to internal controls, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements throughout delivery. Strengthen delivery governance and benefit realisation mechanisms. Embed scalable, repeatable, and well-controlled processes. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Facilitate stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, and readiness activities. Partner with Finance, People & Culture, Digital, and Change teams to prepare impacted stakeholders. Provide delivery expertise to governance forums, ensuring ownership and accountability of decisions. Act as a change ambassador, challenging the status quo to improve Finance performance and capability. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or related discipline (required). CPA or CA qualification (preferred). Project Management and/or Continuous Improvement certification (preferred). Proven track record leading complex Finance transformation initiatives. Experience transitioning Finance functions to Managed Service Providers or Shared Services. Strong understanding of Finance operations, processes, controls, and best practices. Experience working within complex, enterprise environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across senior leadership levels.
