Estimator (Contract – 4 Months) Sydney NSW ⏳ 4-Month Contract | Immediate Start Commercial Fit-Out Projects We are a small, well-established Sydney-based commercial builder specialising in high-quality fit-out projects across hospitality, retail, workplace, and refurbishment sectors. Due to a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on a 4-month contract. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with a tight-knit delivery team and can hit the ground running. The Role Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for: Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Conducting quantity take-offs Subcontractor and supplier procurement & negotiations Preparing BOQs and cost plans Identifying value engineering opportunities Assisting with variations and project cost control where required About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 5 years’ experience estimating commercial fit-out projects Strong knowledge of Sydney subcontractor market rates Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience pricing projects ranging from $500k – $5m Proficiency in estimating software and Excel Excellent attention to detail and time management Ability to work independently in a small team environment If you are a capable Estimator with strong fit-out experience and available for an immediate start, we would love to hear from you.
