Permanent Part-time (minimum of 20 hours per fortnight, excluding school holidays) Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex located on Eighty Road, Baldivis is the City’s newest leisure facility. The Complex includes four indoor courts, multi-purpose community spaces and a café. The Complex provides our community with access to exceptional leisure and sport facilities. As a Facility Officer, you will support the Assistant Coordinator and Coordinator with the daily operations and maintenance of the Complex. This role is perfect if you have experience in the recreation industry and in maintaining leisure facilities in accordance with legislative regulations and industry guidelines. Passionate about sports and enabling the community to become more active, you will need to have sound interpersonal and communication skills, as well negotiation and conflict resolution skills. A current Working with Children Check and Provide First Aid Certificate are also essential. Applicants must be flexible and available to work in line with the Centres’ opening hours, which vary. Positions are offered with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week (excluding during school holidays). It is essential that you possess the following: Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) Current Provide First Aid Certificate It will be highly regarded if you possess: Previous experience in the recreation industry, in a similar position To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application: Experience in collection and handling of cash receipts Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills Ensure appropriate levels of behaviour are maintained by facility patrons Maintain the facility and immediate surrounds in a clean, tidy and presentable condition The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex has set opening hours, however, the centre also caters for a large number of bookings Monday to Sunday outside of these hours. Monday-Friday shifts can vary from 2:30pm-10:00pm whilst weekend shifts can vary from 7:00am-10:00pm.
