Our client is a family-owned and operated steel fabrication workshop that manufactures custom equipment for the Earthmoving and Construction industries. This is an ongoing position , offering a long-term opportunity to the right candidate. This role offers a variety of tasks each day and suits someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work in a supportive workshop environment. Experience in a fabrication or engineering workshop is highly advantageous, and all relevant training will be provided . Key Duties Forklift operation, including loading and unloading of trucks Grinding, painting, packing, and strapping outgoing goods Performing small oxy cutting tasks (experience will be highly regarded) Supporting all general workshop and fabrication duties Requirements To be considered, applicants must have: A current LF Forklift Licence (mandatory requirement) A current High Risk Work Licence - CB (Bridge/Gantry Crane) Proven experience operating forklifts and overhead gantry cranes Ability to read and interpret dispatch details and hand-mark goods accordingly Reliable transport to Acacia Ridge for 7am start, Monday to Friday Good teamwork skills and pride in workmanship A good level of physical fitness Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic This role offers a variety of tasks each day and suits someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work in a supportive workshop environment.
