Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller , you will play a pivotal role in managing our balance sheets, refining accounting processes, and supporting the broader business through insightful financial analysis. Your primary focus will be supporting the Finance Department by meeting critical scheduled deadlines and maintaining the integrity of our financial data. Key Responsibilities: Reconciliations & Journals: Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany loan reconciliations. Prepare monthly accruals and weekly payroll journals. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate management reports, tracking budget variances, and maintaining the fixed asset register. Compliance & Tax: Prepare and lodge monthly BAS returns, assist with FBT returns, and ensure all statutory obligations are met. Process Improvement: Proactively drive improvements across accounting workflows to reduce manual intervention and boost efficiency. Audit & Inventory: Support the annual audit process and assist with inventory transactions, stocktakes, and reporting. About you: We are looking for a candidate who pairs technical expertise with a proactive work ethic. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) and a CPA/CA qualification (essential) . Experience: Accounting experience within a medium-to-large company. An audit background is highly regarded but not essential. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with modern accounting software. Soft Skills: A high standard of work ethics, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships across different business functions. Why Join Us?
