The exciting opportunity This key executive leadership position reports directly to the CEO and carries responsibility for both Residential Aged Care and Home Care services within a respected, Perth‑based provider. You’ll join as the current Executive Manager transitions into a system‑level role, stepping into a well‑supported environment with a clear long‑term vision. While experience across both Residential and Home Care is ideal, the organisation welcomes an experienced Residential Manager who is genuinely interested in developing and expanding into the Home Care portfolio. You’ll receive tailored support and mentoring to build your capability and confidence across both streams of care. You’ll be a real and grounded leader who values integrity over impression, authentic, self‑aware, and confident. You will lead with empathy, humility, and courage while being comfortable challenging ideas respectfully with sound reasoning and evidence. You’ll prefer collaboration and transparency over competition. Your next employer You’ll be joining a Western Australian aged care organisation that values person‑centred care, cultural diversity, and compassion as much as clinical excellence. The CEO promotes an environment of trust, accountability, and professional growth — not performative leadership. They’re seeking a partner in leadership: someone who wants to build consistency, develop people, and shape a culture that balances care and performance. Services operate around the clock and are supported by strong frameworks in governance, quality, risk, and safety, with alignment to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards. Key responsibilities Lead and mentor Residential Care Managers, Home Care Managers and the Roster Compliance Manager, helping them develop confidence and capability. Drive operational and clinical governance across all services, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards, accreditation, and internal policy. Manage AN‑ACC, care minutes, occupancy, unspent funds and funding claims, partnering with Finance on budgets, reviews, and corrective actions. Lead workforce planning, rostering, and education strategies to meet 24/7 RN coverage and care minute targets, while minimising reliance on agency staff. Embed systems to elevate customer experience, documentation, complaints management and feedback processes. Model humble but courageous leadership — someone who coaches, questions, and continuously develops themselves and others. Represent the organisation with professionalism and authenticity in dealings with regulators, funders, and external partners. What makes this great Executive‑level remit spanning both Residential and Home Care services. Opportunity to influence real cultural and operational transformation within a stable, values‑driven leadership team. A chance to grow with the organisation long‑term — not just a stepping‑stone role. Direct partnership with an outcome‑focused CEO who values straight talk, empathy, and commitment over ego. Competitive remuneration, salary packaging benefits, and strong support from your dedicated 3D Recruit Consultant. About you AHPRA‑registered Registered Nurse, ideally with an Australian Bachelor of Nursing. Further qualifications in Leadership, Management, Finance or Business (MBA or post‑graduate study desirable). Substantial experience in aged care operations (residential and/or home care), with strong clinical governance expertise. Commercially minded with solid understanding of AN‑ACC funding, workforce planning, HR/IR, and recruitment. Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive accountable performance. Resilient, grounded, and genuinely motivated by improving care outcomes. Empathetic and self‑aware — you lead with understanding, not ego. Current National Police Clearance, driver’s licence, and up‑to‑date COVID and Influenza vaccinations. What next?
