Brisbane CBD | Government Contract | 2 Year Contract Possible Extensions (2028) About the role We are seeking an experienced Project Officer to provide high-level project administration and coordination support across ICT-enabled initiatives within a large Queensland Government environment. This role combines hands-on project coordination with governance support, ensuring ICT projects are delivered efficiently, on time and in line with organisational standards. What you’ll be doing Providing day-to-day project administration across ICT projects Monitoring budgets and producing financial reporting updates Raising purchase orders and managing goods receipting in SAP Coordinating project meetings, workshops and boards, including agendas, packs, actions and minutes You will also assist with reporting, maintaining registers in Enterprise Project Online, managing project artefacts in eDRMS and SharePoint, supporting onboarding and offboarding of project resources, collating data for research, and building strong stakeholder relationships across teams. Key responsibilities & requirements Prior experience supporting ICT-enabled projects in complex operating environments Demonstrated experience with project management tools and governance processes Experience supporting financial management of project activities Ability to work independently and as part of high-performing teams Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience with SAP (purchase orders & goods receipting), Content Manager, SharePoint and Enterprise Project Online highly regarded Understanding of PRINCE2 and/or Agile delivery frameworks advantageous Previous Queensland Government or public sector project experience desirable APPLY NOW Email tony@grittalent.com for a confidential discussion about this role.
