About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our IT Business Applications team. Working across a large dynamic Salesforce organisation with over 600 users, this is a great chance to drive growth & have an impact at SSI working across multiple Salesforce products. Partnering with key internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day support, maintenance and improvement of the Salesforce platform. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will support one of SSI’s largest programs, the Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP), with Salesforce/Integrated Client Management System, learning about the program and finding ways to streamline usability, improve functionality and improve user adoption. This will be done in close collaboration with the organisation's wider Salesforce and data teams. The Humanitarian Settlement Program supports newly arrived humanitarian entrants and other eligible clients to integrate into Australian life by building the skills and knowledge they need to become self-reliant and active members of the community. Key responsibilities include: System Optimisation & Automation: Design, build, and maintain complex Salesforce Flows and automation tools to streamline business processes and enhance overall system efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement & Solutioning: Partner with business leaders and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into high-performing system configurations. Advanced Data Management: Ownership of data integrity and quality strategies, including sophisticated data imports, cleanup, and the implementation of long-term reliability standards. Security, Governance & Compliance: Administer user access and security settings, conducting regular security audits to ensure data protection and adherence to organizational policies. User Support & Advisory: Provide high-touch daily support and troubleshooting while acting as a subject matter expert on Salesforce best practices. Technical Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date library of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support training and operational continuity. About You Working as part of a highly collaborative IT function you will be a critical thinker who is passionate about the Salesforce platform. To be successful in this role you will have/be the following: A certified expert, holding an active Salesforce Administrator certification. Proven track record of at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience successfully managing and configuring Salesforce environments. A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field is highly preferred. A strategic problem solver - strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide creative solutions. A clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders effectively. Dynamic task management, someone who is highly organised with the ability to prioritise high-impact projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
