What’s Involved Identify relevant maintenance tasks and define their characteristics—including required resources, skill level, frequency, and estimated work hours—using analysis methods such as Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and/or Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), aligned with system/equipment functional requirements and mission profiles. Produce ILS deliverables including analysis reports, technical manuals, maintenance plans and detailed maintenance work instructions. Analyse the maintenance resource package by conducting resource evaluations and trade-offs to determine the optimal location, personnel, and resources required for each task. Apply engineering judgement to refine tasks in ways that improve vessel availability and reduce life-cycle costs Develop executable planning documents to support maintenance delivery. Document maintenance procedures in compliance with relevant safety standards, ensuring clarity and accuracy based on authorised technical data. Perform assigned ILS analysis tasks including logistics support analysis, reliability analysis, spares analysis, maintenance requirements determination and task analysis activities. Assist in the determination and embodiment process of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) across multiple projects. Support the preparation and submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables to the client, ensuring compliance with project requirements Conduct maintenance investigations to identify deficiencies in current practices and recommend improvements to enhance asset reliability and maintainability. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports detailing investigation findings and recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on ILS requirements and liaise with external stakeholders. You’ll Need Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent qualification 3 years relevant experience in maintenance engineering Excellent computer skills Understanding of the importance and role of data in the logistics program Well-developed oral and written communication skills Why Join Us?
