About the role: Reporting to the Western Australian Service Manager. This position will provide direction, coaching, motivation, and leadership to ensure that all work conducted by Service Team personnel on client sites and within Company facilities is performed in a professional manner, follow the Company Health & Safety Management Plan, and to ensure work standards are maintained at the highest standard in accordance with OEM specifications and procedures. Specific duties include: Ensure that the department is appropriately staffed and structured so that the function is capable of meeting area budget targets and customer needs. Promote a strong customer focused culture underpinned by teamwork and unity between all staff promoting the company values and behaviours. Regular site visits during the shutdown execution phase to review the team’s performance and develop onsite relationships. Oversee the development of maintenance shutdown planning in conjunction with Supervisors and Coordinator against client scope of works to allow effective coordination of such works so all stakeholders are aligned and agree on requirements, assisting with site mobilisation requirements when needed. Oversee the execution of emergency breakdown services ensuring the work is completed by the team in a timely manner in accordance with The Company policies and procedures. Provide support to the service team relating to the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and process improvement of Sandvik SRP equipment on customer sites including problem identification/ solution and root cause analyses investigation on customer equipment. Establish and monitor continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve efficiencies and productivity. Track and ensure customer’s documentation requirements are met in a timely manner, including overseeing the provision of service reports, asset information for Contractor Management system/ framework documentation and contract reporting requirements. Your contributions will be valued as you help drive the success of our team and support our customers. What you’ll bring: Certificate IV in Front Line Management is preferable but not essential. Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience in customer relationship management. Experience in Resources and Bulk Materials Handling. Demonstrated commitment to behavioural safety and associated systems and processes. Familiar with Safe Work Procedures (SWP’s) as it relates to the mining industry. Proven ability to understand, interpret and explain technical manuals and drawings. Resource Planning essential.
