The Enrolment Officer / School Administrator plays a vital role as one of the first points of contact for prospective parents and current families. This role is key in ensuring an efficient, professional, and welcoming enrolment experience while providing essential administrative support to the Principal and maintaining high levels of professionalism and confidentiality. This role is Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm and is located in Leafy Lindfield, close to public transport and parking is available.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Enrolment and Admissions: • Respond professionally to enquiries and manage the full enrolment process, including applications, tours, confirmations, waitlists, and reporting. • Maintain accurate records, statistical data, and provide regular updates to leadership while ensuring families receive pre-commencement information. Administrative Support: • Assist the Principal with enrolment administration, policies, procedures, and compliance documentation. • Ensure professional correspondence, accurate database management, confidentiality, and organised administrative operations. • Support teachers with administrative tasks and facilitate site access for workmen and deliveries. Event Coordination: • Assist in organising Open Mornings, Orientation Visits, Parent Celebrations, and other school events. • Coordinate event logistics and communication in collaboration with the Principal and staff Stakeholder Liaison: • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and service providers while managing enquiries and attendance matters. • Refer complex concerns to the Principal and share relevant updates regarding student attendance and communication. School Operations & Compliance: • Adhere to safety policies, professional codes of ethics, school guidelines, and maintain a neat, compliant administration environment. • Demonstrate an understanding of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy and Xplor Software.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. • Attention to detail in documentation, scheduling, and enrolment processing. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, and administrative software. • Prior experience in an administrative or enrolment-related role, preferably within an educational setting.
