Job Description At KordaMentha, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for an experienced and talented senior graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations in both print and digital. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to delivery. Working collaboratively with marketing and select teams across the firm, the successful candidate will be able to transform written and blue-sky ideas, and convert them into creative, compelling and engaging concepts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Client Engagement, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, enjoy a fast-paced environment and work with a team who values innovation. The successful candidate will enjoy a collaborative environment and will be required to be on-site for the majority of the work week, with opportunities for remote working as required. Responsibilities: Manage 2 - 3 direct reports. Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualise and develop designs that meet project and business goals. This includes brochures, EDMs, social tiles, infographics, motion graphics and video content. Obtain timely input from stakeholders to ensure designs meet firm standards, express ideas accurately, and represent KordaMentha appropriately. Work both independently and collaboratively on campaigns and projects, meeting deadlines and managing simultaneous workflows as required. Plan, coordinate and produce professional photography and video shoots, including direction and support for talent. Examine existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and create solutions that enhance capabilities. Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video. Adapt or rework graphics, illustrations and photography from an existing library or stock images. Ensure all graphic work is optimised for best quality within a digital online environment and on brand Monitor resource capacity and project timelines to ensure efficient production and prioritisation. Conceptualise designs based on briefs and determine requirements. Manage creative briefs and agencies for select projects.
