Your role at St John of God Murdoch Hospital We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Procedural and Recovery Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our Endoscopy Department . In this role you will become part of a dynamic, committed team of health professionals, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. You will play a critical role in both the procedural and recovery phases, ensuring that patients receive safe, compassionate, and professional care at all stages of their treatment. Using the latest technology and treatment, you will work together to achieve best practice outcomes, clinical excellence, provide exceptional care and a first-class patient experience. The Position Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence. Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively. Adhere to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards. Act as the patient’s advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals. Provide patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care. Prioritise workload using resources effectively. Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required You will work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, have commitment to ongoing education and professional development with demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction. To be successful in the role you will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, possess well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with current Endoscopy experience.
