About Forensicare Forensicare is Victoria’s specialist forensic mental health service, supporting people living with complex mental health needs who intersect with the justice system. We’re looking for an experienced and committed Hospital Lead Psychologist to guide psychology services and champion best practice across Thomas Embling Hospital. About the role This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving high‑quality, evidence‑based and recovery‑oriented psychological care within a secure hospital environment. You will lead program delivery, support clinical governance, and strengthen the contribution of psychology within multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate psychology services and programs across the hospital Provide expert clinical oversight on complex assessments, formulations and interventions Contribute to risk management, treatment planning and recovery-focused care Mentor, supervise and develop psychology staff, interns and students Drive research, quality improvement and service development initiatives Represent psychology in hospital-wide planning, governance and strategic discussions.
