This is a customer-facing role engaging with end users and key contacts to drive the Simplot portfolio. About Our Role As an Area Manager - Western Region VIC, you will deepen customer engagement across a defined geographical territory and drive growth of the Simplot Foodservice portfolio. This role exists to build product awareness, support trial and adoption, and strengthen relationships with end users, ingredients customers and key accounts. Working closely with marketing, product management, distributor partners and internal sales teams, you’ll execute plans that expand our footprint, elevate service delivery and contribute to state‑level commercial performance. This role involves extensive travel across the territory including nights away from home in regional accommodation, and occasional interstate travel as required. What You Will Do In this role, you’ll take on a range of responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Build strong relationships with key end users and accounts, delivering high‑quality service and annual plans Maintain accurate Salesforce data to identify prospects, support marketing activity and guide product opportunities Grow the Simplot portfolio through consistent customer engagement and insight‑driven conversations Maximise sales, volume and contribution through strategic planning, pricing and trade spend management Identify core and new ranging opportunities to support state financial targets Complete timely administration, reporting and compliance tasks Uphold safe work practices, company policies and professional standards About You Experienced in Foodservice or FMCG sales, with strong field‑based customer experience Skilled in relationship building, influencing and uncovering opportunities Commercially focused, with experience in account planning, pricing and managing trade spend Competent using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Organised, self‑driven and strong in communication, with a commitment to safety and process Previous account management or chef experience is beneficial but not essential Comfortable with extensive regional travel, including regular overnight stays and interstate travel as required Ready to Grow Your Career?
