Ongoing, Full-time Clerk Grade 9/10 - $129,464 to $142,665 base salary per annum superannuation and annual leave loading Sydney location - Flexible working conditions may be available in line with the DCS Flexible Working Policy This role sits within the ICT Digital Assurance Division in the Digital Strategy and Assurance team About the role The Digital Assurance team is seeking a Senior Assurance Analyst to join their team. This position leads the planning and scheduling of assurance reviews for digital projects across all NSW government agencies. You will ensure the quality and timeliness of project information and assurance review outcomes in accordance with the NSW Digital Assurance Framework (DAF). This role requires strong stakeholder management capabilities, effective project management and prioritisation skills, and high level analytical and report writing abilities. Key responsibilities Lead meetings with customers across NSW government agencies to plan and schedule assurance review activities aligned with project requirements. Lead the delivery of assurance reviews, including drafting clear and concise Terms of Reference that incorporates project specific conditions and sponsor concerns. Prepare high quality Assurance Reports, Briefings and Cabinet Submission with strong attention to detail Identify suitable review team members from an external panel and oversee associated procurement activities. Gather, analyse, and prepare information from assurance reviews to identify performance issues and risks, and provide recommendations and expert advice to senior executives and governance committees. Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the adoption and continuous improvement of policies and guidelines, ensuring project information and reporting remain up to date. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Experience working on projects in a project officer or project manager capacity. Experience drafting policy documents, Cabinet submissions, and detailed reports—including data analysis, executive summaries, and visual aids—to inform senior decision-making. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and align diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or PRINCE2. Strong attention to detail, self‑motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a complex environment with competing priorities. High‑level administrative skills with the ability to manage tasks and competing demands.
