About the Team This role sits within NSW Fair Trading’s Rental Branch. This critical role will provide secretariat support to a range of committees relating to grants and compensation funds as well as providing secretariat support to the NSW Rental Bond Board. About the Role As the Committee & Board Secretariat, you will provide expert governance, secretariat, and coordination support to key committees and boards across Fair Trading, Rental Branch. You will ensure governance processes are robust, timely, and compliant, enabling informed decision-making and effective oversight of regulatory and organisational priorities. Your Responsibilities Will Include Provide high-level governance, secretariat, and coordination support to executive committees and boards. Prepare agendas, minutes, reports, and documentation to support informed decision-making. Monitor and coordinate actions, ensuring compliance with governance standards and deadlines. Liaise with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and governance alignment. Provide advice on governance frameworks and contribute to continuous improvement of governance processes. About You We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented governance professional who: Has experience providing high-level secretariat or governance support to boards or committees. Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. Understands governance frameworks and compliance obligations. Excels in time management, prioritisation, and attention to detail. Holds relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in governance, policy, or administration.
