About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Scheduling Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Technical Services Manager and operates on an 8:6 roster (potential to split work between site and the Perth office). Your focus will be on translating mine designs and operational inputs into reliable mine schedules that enable safe, efficient, value-driven delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing accurate medium to long-term mine schedules (one month to three years) that align operational execution with site strategy and business objectives. Maintaining and optimising the master Deswik scheduling model to reflect current underground conditions, constraints, and Life of Mine planning. Translating mine design, operational data, and assumptions into practical, executable forecasts that can be safely delivered. Coordinating the scheduling cycle and engaging closely with surface, underground, and Technical Services stakeholders to manage risk and schedule variance. Analysing scenarios, bottlenecks, and alternatives to continuously improve schedule quality, efficiency, and robustness. Providing technical leadership to ensure planning and scheduling standards support safe, reliable mine plan delivery. About You Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in similar positions, including exposure to underground hard-rock mining environments, delivering schedules beyond two-month horizons. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline. Short and medium-term underground stope and development design experience (vertical and horizontal). Strong understanding of underground mining systems, including longhole stoping, equipment capabilities, and backfill systems. Experience developing and improving mine planning and scheduling systems and processes. Proficiency in mine design and scheduling software, preferably Deswik (Suite, Ops, MDM, Scheduler) or equivalent platforms. Current C-class manual driver’s licence.
