Permanent Part-Time | 9:00am-3:00pm (Flexible) | WFH or Office-Based We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Australian marketing business that specialises in local area advertising for small to medium-sized businesses. This role has previously been managed by an offshore team and is now being brought back to Australia. We are seeking a locally based designer who understands the Australian SME market and can work closely with the internal team. This is a permanent part-time position (9:00am-3:00pm), with flexibility to work beyond 3:00pm when required. The role can be fully work-from-home or office-based. About the Role This is not brand campaign design. You will be creating clear, simple, results-driven print and digital advertising for local service businesses such as plumbers, electricians, gyms, schools and trades — with a focus on generating enquiries through strong calls to action and effective layouts. Key responsibilities include: Designing advertising for SME local area marketing campaigns Creating clean, high-impact layouts with strong typography Using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Developing 2D animation using Adobe After Effects Applying video editing skills for promotional content Maintaining consistent branding and messaging Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines Liaising with internal team members to understand briefs About You 2-3 years' professional graphic design experience Relevant qualification in Graphic Design (or similar) Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple mediums Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Experience with Adobe After Effects and 2D animation Video editing capability Experience designing for SME or local area marketing environments Ability to work across multiple industries (not just one brand) Strong attention to detail and layout skills Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with 3D animation is advantageous but not essential.
