As the newest team member, you'll be joining a highly successful and rapidly growing Australian business. You'll report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will play a key role in optimising uptime and machine availability. Efficiently and safely perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production machinery, ancillary equipment and facilities. Some of this equipment includes dividers, sheeters, chain drives, wrappers and baggers. Work closely with contractors and internal teams to coordinate outsourced and in-house maintenance. Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies with the Maintenance Manager and technicians. Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operations. Ensure compliance with WHS standards and food safety (HACCP) requirements. Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained production environment at all times. About You Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter with hands on experience in a similar role. Maintenance Fitting experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments are highly regarded. Exposure to a variety of trade skills such as welding, fabrication, and building maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience with maintenance management software such as MEX is highly regarded. Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices. Current unrestricted driver's licence. A professional approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
