Associate / Senior Associate – Professional & Financial Risks (Insurance Litigation) Sydney | Mid-Tier Defendant Firm | Hybrid Working An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate (4 PQE) to join a high-performing Professional & Financial Risks (Litigation) team within a well-regarded national mid-tier defendant firm. This role sits within a collaborative and specialist insurance practice, recognised for delivering strategic, commercially focused advice across a broad range of industries. The Opportunity You will work across a diverse portfolio of public and product liability and professional indemnity matters, with exposure to clients in the: Strata sector Sports & leisure industry Construction industry Broader commercial and financial risk environments You will have genuine carriage of matters and the opportunity to be closely involved in strategy, client engagement, advocacy preparation and dispute resolution. The role offers strong mentoring from experienced Principals and Senior Lawyers within a collegiate and supportive team. This is an excellent platform to further strengthen your: Advocacy and litigation strategy skills Client advisory capability in a commercial context Practice management and leadership development About You You will bring: Minimum 4 years’ PQE in litigation (private practice or in-house) Solid experience in public liability, product liability and/or professional indemnity A genuine interest in the strata, sports, leisure or construction sectors Strong drafting ability and attention to technical detail Excellent communication and client management skills The ability to manage multiple active matters with confidence A positive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach You are commercially astute, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and within a tight-knit team environment.
