Senior Legal Assistant The Role Due to continued growth, a top-tier, market-leading law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to support Partners and a high-performing team of lawyers within a respected Disputes and Employment practice. The Opportunity In this pivotal role, you’ll provide end-to-end legal assistant and PA support to one or more Partners and their teams, ensuring matters run seamlessly and clients receive exceptional service. You’ll also be part of a strong, connected network of Legal Assistant who actively support one another, share best practice, and contribute to firm-wide initiatives across wellbeing, inclusion, and social connection. You can expect: Partner-level exposure and meaningful responsibility A professional yet relaxed environment, dress for your day Flexible working arrangements (including 1-day WFH) A genuine commitment to wellbeing, balance and mental health An approachable, collaborative and inclusive culture Opportunities to be involved in social, charitable and D&I initiatives $112,000 package, depending on experience What You’ll Be Doing This is a broad, senior remit that includes: Proactive management of Partner diaries, emails, travel, expenses, and priorities Matter management from opening to close, including conflict checks and compliance Document production including correspondence, court documents, presentations and reports Billing, invoicing, and reporting, including client liaison and month-end processes Coordinating with clients, counsel, consultants and internal teams Supporting business development initiatives and client events Acting as a trusted point of contact and mentoring junior support staff Ensuring systems, processes and workflows run smoothly and efficiently About You You’re an experienced legal support professional who brings confidence, judgement and polish to everything you do. You’ll likely have: 5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Practice Administrator Proven experience supporting Partners or senior lawyers in a busy practice Strong exposure to billing and financial processes ( Aderant, Elite3e, iManage, LEAP, Smokeball, Affinity ) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities A proactive, solutions-focused mindset High emotional intelligence and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and clients Solid MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in Litigation, Disputes, Employment, Family, Commercial Litigation , will be highly regarded.
