Perm role between 2- 3 days a week (4 days considered). We currently represent a medium-sized, values-driven not-for-profit NDIS provider that supports people to live meaningful, independent lives. As their services continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced NDIS Accounts & Billing Specialist to bring structure, accuracy, and improved systems to a critical part of their operation. This is not just an accounting role . It is a hands-on, detail-focused position sitting between operations and finance , ensuring that services delivered to participants are accurately reviewed, reconciled and billed in line with their NDIS plans. The Opportunity You will take ownership of the end-to-end NDIS billing and reconciliation process , working closely with rostering, service delivery and accounts to ensure: Rosters accurately reflect services delivered Services align with participant plans and funding line items Claims are correct, compliant and submitted on time Currently, much of this work sits across Excel spreadsheets and paper processes , so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order, improving systems and streamlining workflows in a smaller organisation. Key Responsibilities Review rosters and service delivery against participant NDIS plans Reconcile delivered supports to correct NDIS line items Prepare and manage accurate NDIS billing and claims Work closely with operations to resolve discrepancies early Liaise with the accounts team to ensure clean handover to payroll and invoicing Improve and document billing and reconciliation processes Support the transition from manual processes to more efficient systems Systems You'll Work With ShiftCare - rostering and service delivery Employment Hero - HRIS Xero - payroll and finance Strong use of Excel (with a focus on improving how it's used, not living in it forever) About You The successful candidate will have: Proven experience in NDIS billing, claims or service reconciliation A strong understanding of how rosters, services and NDIS funding intersect Experience working in a small to mid-sized organisation , where you've had to be hands-on Excellent attention to detail and confidence questioning inconsistencies A practical, solutions-focused mindset with an interest in systems improvement Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams Why Join Us?
