About the Role This traineeship offers a supported introduction to library services, with structured learning, clear expectations, and hands on experience in a real library environment. Working under supervision, the Trainee Library Services Officer will assist with: Providing friendly customer service at library service points Lending, returns, shelving, and general stock maintenance Supporting library users with basic enquiries and technology Assisting with library programs, events, and community activities General administrative and operational tasks Your responsibilities will grow as your skills and confidence develop.
