This includes managing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and providing practical advice to help teams make confident, informed decisions. This role is ideally based in Fairfield, Melbourne; however an opportunity exists to work from one of our regional sites with occasional driving to Fairfield as required. About you You are a clear and approachable communicator who enjoys working with others and building trusted relationships. You bring curiosity and resourcefulness to your work and adapt easily as priorities change. Building on these strengths, you also have strong technical finance skills and IT capability, including advanced Excel and confidence navigating financial systems, and you are driven to help teams make informed decisions and contribute to meaningful outcomes for the communities we support. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting and CPA / CA qualification Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice Demonstrated ability in developing a close and sustained relationship with stakeholders Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake Satisfactory Queensland Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2), or willingness to undertake NDIS Workers Orientation module completion certificate Prior experience working within the not-for-profit sector (desirable) About Us Wellways is a for purpose mental health and disability support organisation working nationally to support people of all ages experiencing challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing.
