About the role Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced casual Animal Attendant to assist in operations at the Bathurst Animal Rehoming Centre. You will hold a Certificate II in Animal Care and be motivated to maintain high standards of animal welfare. Animal Attendants are required to undertake duties such as cleaning and disinfection of kennels/condos, and care and exercise of impounded animals. This is a casual role and candidates must be available to work on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis. This position may a pre-employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.
